The Carlson family and our awesome staff welcome you to Loons Nest Coffee. We have been going to the North Shore, Gunflint Trail and the BWCA since we were kids. The wonder of this place has always been in our hearts and when the opportunity to bring our passion of roasting and serving great coffee came, we jumped at the opportunity. We opened our first year serving out of a coffee trailer as we worked through the challenges of remodeling in such a remote place. We are looking forward to serving you in the summer of 2023 inside our building.
We roast our coffee at our roasting plant Carlson Roasting Co. in Houston, MN. It is all Organic and Fair Trade coffee selected from high quality specialty coffee producers around the world.
